In honour of Ruth Bader Ginsberg

Today, not just Americans, but people around world today are thinking about a truly inspirational person, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, popularly known simply as RBG. In a ceremony on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice John G. Roberts Jr. said: “Her voice …was soft, but when she spoke, people listened.”
 
Women listened, men listened, people without power listened, people with power listened, little people listened. I loved this picture I saw today in the New York Times of little Lucille Wilson, 3 of  Chesapeake Beach, Maryland  who came out with her mother to pay their respects to RBG. Her mom, Meghann said, “We have a book called ‘I Dissent’ that she likes to read. All day she keeps saying, ‘I look just like Ruth in the book.’ “You always want more for your children than you had, right?'" Her mom went on to say that 'my daughter’s future is in the forefront of our minds.”

​I would like to dedicate this blog to all the little voices of the world who just want to be safe and loved; to have their boundaries respected and protected, who want the right to dissent if they ever feel unsafe.
